These links also include various Catholic prayers to Our Lord, to Our Blessed Mother, to Saint Michael the Archangel as well as to Saint Jude Thaddeus, Apostle and Martyr, Patron Saint of the impossible.
In addition, the link to the Catholic Prayer Book has a variety of some basic Catholic prayers, most of which are both practical and very brief. Modern society leaves little time for prayer, so these quick prayers can be very helpful when one has only a few minutes now and then throughout the day to think about God.
The Exorcism is for use by the Laity. Just this evening there was a brief news report of how the Vatican is now having classes to teach its clergy how to do Exorcisms. This is in response to the growing problem of the Diabolical possession of people.
Having done many Exorcisms of people, places and things over many, many years, I can personally attest to the fact that Diabolical possession is becoming much worse.
But, rather than leave the Laity totally helpless in this regard, this particular Exorcism, which has been approved for use by the Laity, is to give the Laity some Spiritual help against this problem by reciting the prayers of this Exorcism, along with using Holy Water.
Although the Laity are not Ordained Exorcists, the use of Holy Water is a great help because of the liturgical rite used to make Holy Water. In addition to the various prayers and rubrics that are used, the making of Holy Water also includes the use of clean water and a pinch of salt, both of which are first Exorcized by a Catholic Priest, and then both are Blessed. Finally, the salt is added to the water with a Blessing.
This Holy Water even helps non-Catholics!
For example, some years ago, a non-Catholic came to visit me about many things. Before leaving, I asked him if he would like to take a few gallons of Holy Water home with him. He agreed.
He called me when he returned home and thanked me profusely! He explained that on his way home, he was almost involved in a deadly crash! He was spared, but others were not so fortunate. He told me that he was certain it was the Holy Water in his vehicle that prevented his involvement in that horrific, deadly accident!
His Testimonial was a great surprise to me because he was not even a Catholic, and yet he believed in the tremendous Spiritual Power of that Holy Water I had given to him upon completion of his visit with me!
